As early screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens have begun to hit the theaters, many of the showings are already sold out but there is still hope.

Even as Star Wars:The Force Awakens is not officially released yet, opening officially on December 18th, it has sold more than $50 Million in advance ticket sales already across the 3,900 screens that will be showing it and another $6.5 Million in domestic ticket sales for Imax screens. AMC Theaters, the second-largest multiplex chain is already reporting that more than 1,600 screenings on opening weekend were already sold out.

The Orchard 14 will be dedicating half of the theater screens to showings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and has already sold more than 1,000 advance tickets and multiple screenings have already sold out.

Rome Cinemas has multiple showings of of Star Wars:The Force Awakens beginning on December 18th at 7PM including several 3D screenings however, showing availability is currently unknown.

In Syracuse there will be screenings at the Great Northern Mall, ShoppingTown Mall and Destiny USA as well. As with all movie releases, the theater times and showings are subject to change and may even be sold out.
