What’s Your Favorite Game for National Backyard Game Week – Poll

It’s National Backyard Game week. What’s your favorite game to play with family and friends in your yard?
When we were kids, I use to love to play lawn darts. We wouldn’t even use the white circles that you’re suppose to land your darts in to win. We would just try to see how high we could throw the darts into the air and not get hit in the head with them on the way down. Ironically, the plastic toys with sharp metal points are no longer available and have been banned in some states, including New York because they are too dangers. Go figure!
Our new favorite game is Kan Jam, created in Buffalo New York by two guys who were just throwing a frisbee in the backyard at garbage cans. Today, KanJam is sold in over 3,000 stores across the country, is used in 2,000 schools as part of the PE curriculum, and is popping up everywhere on YouTube and Facebook pages. They even have glow in the dark Kan Jam so you can play at night.
To play, set up the Kan Jam cans 50 feet apart. The object is to be the first team of 2 to score 21 points or the first to throw the frisbee into the slot in the can. To score, hit the can with the frisbee for 2 points. If your partner assists the frisbee into hitting the side of the can, 1 point. If your partner deflects the frisbee into the can, 3 points.
