Being a parent has to be one of the toughest jobs out there. Sometimes, some parents don't pay as much attention to their child when they are out in public as they should be. Sometimes, they may not even care if the child is misbehaving. That's what I saw happen last night.

Sarah and I were off doing some laundry at a local laundromat. There was a bunch of people inside doing their laundry, and some parents brought their kids along to help. While sitting waiting for our clothes to dry, I noticed a little boy running around the laundromat. He then started to jump on top of the counters that people use to fold their laundry, then he decided to take a ride around the entire business in those baskets on wheels. He almost ran into two different people! He started running and screaming down the isles of machines, almost bumping into people time and time again.

While all of this was going on, his mother sat in the corner reading a book. She would occasionally look up, and tell him "You need to cut it out!". However, when she would ask him, he continued doing exactly what he was doing. I'm not a parent, I understand that. Am I wrong to believe she should have done something else?

What's the worst thing you've seen a parent let there kid get away with in public?
