What Has the Flu Made You Miss

The only thing worse than being sick is not being able to sink your teeth into a homemade chocolate turtle cheesecake. Michael Belcher of Belcher Cheesecake Creations in Rome offered to make me my favorite dessert of all time. It was delivered to the station Thursday afternoon. It was about the same time I came down with the flu.

This cold and flu season has been brutal. It's hit about 90% of the staff, forcing everyone to miss work, events and spending time with their families. No one wants to spread it around and bed is only place you want to be.

After spending days in bed, I finally got a sliver of the cheesecake and it was so worth the wait. It was also WAY better than the tea and toast I'd been eating for several days.

At least I didn't get sick during vacation next week. What has the cold or flu forced you to miss?
