If there's no milk in the carton that's still in the fridge, the ice cream you bought the day before is already empty and the money from your paycheck is spent before you even cash it, you might have children.

When the kids are young it's the small things that disappear quickly. Candy, clothes and shoes that fit or a good nights sleep. As they grow it's money. The older they get, the more it costs.

For Tad and I it's college time. Mere minutes after withdrawing a good chuck of our savings, the money went to tuition. At least I got to see what a $100 bill looks like and was able to hold it, if only for a second or two.
