What are these bones found in Boonville? Depends on who you ask.

Tyme Ferris discovered the bones while visiting family in Boonville near Pixley Falls and posted pictures on his Facebook page with the caption 'Raptor dinosaur bones found in Boonville, NY.' Then the conspiracy theories began.

The pictures have been shared over 2,500 times with comments from over 17 countries. Many believe the bones are from a dinosaur, while others think it's a giant turkey. "It's been extremely interesting to see how passionately either side is and the debates to support their beliefs," says Ferris.

The real answer? The bones are from a deer and Ferris says he and his brothers rearranged them to look like a dinosaur as a joke. He just wasn't prepared for the number of people who actually fell for it.
