Welcome home Olympian Erin Hamlin. A parade is planned in Remsen, Hamlin's hometown.

"This Saturday we’re going to welcome Erin home with a parade down Main Street, to the high school, with a short reception after," says Village Mayor Marty Flint.

Vehicles can join the parade procession. "Feel free jump on the back of the line." says Mayor Flint.

Spectators are encouraged to line Main Street with posters and noise makers. "Don’t forget to dress for the weather."

The parade line up for vehicles is at 6 pm, on Alger-Barker Rd and Mayor Flint says it will kicks off at 6:30. "I can’t wait to see everyone there."

In 2014 Hamlin returned to central New York from the Sochi Olympics, driving by hundreds of fans and followed by what seemed like every fire and police vehicle in the area.
