Dave Wheeler’s Week 6 Football Picks

Week 5 of our Pro Football Pickem Challenge has been my best one yet! I had 12 points and beat Polly and Tad! I'll enjoy my minute of victory, because I'm sure it won't happen again. At least EVERYONE is beating Andy. Here's a look at my Week 6 picks and predictions.

What has been the New York Jet's success so far this season? Bleacher Report words it best "Run the ball. Play good defense". As of now, we've been lucky that this plan has worked. We do have Ryan Fitzpatrick, but then again, he hasn't done a ton.

Normally, a quarterback with seven touchdowns, six interceptions and a 78.1 passer rating in four games would be deemed unacceptable. In fact, Fitzpatrick's passer rating is currently the ninth-lowest of qualifying quarterbacks, and he's currently one of only two quarterbacks out of 15 with a winning record and a passer rating lower than 88."

Seriously though, we haven't always moved the ball efficiently down the field this season. Will that finally change in Week 6?
