Waylon & Willie Wednesdays – Our Country Classic Double

If you're a regular listener to my show, you probably are aware of our "Country Classic Double" at 11:30am.   We go back in time with two country songs, and many times on Wednesdays, we make it a Waylon & Willie Wednesday.

Of course, both Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson had numerous solo hits, but in 1978, they recorded an album together entitled: "Waylon & Willie". The album went to number one on the country charts and remained there for ten weeks.  The album went on earn a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance by a duo or group.

So, why "Waylon & Willie Wednesdays"?  Well, we only have what Waylon left us and Willie is a natural treasure.  Enjoy!
