Waves Ablaze With Surfer Flare [VIDEO]

Who comes up with ideas like this?  A member of the Red Bull Minor Threat team, made up of eight surfers, had the idea to attach a flare to the end of his board.  Gives new meaning to 'lighting it up.'

Watch the waves light up at dawn and at night.  I don't know which is cooler.  Check out the video

Would make a nice Olympic Sport wouldn't it ?
