It's like we have one last blast of summer and even though we know it won't last, we also know we're pretty lucky compared to last year.

Is the warmer weather sticking around?

Well... Not really. Tuesday was our warmest day with high temperatures in the low 80s. Wednesday the temperature drops with highs in the upper 60s, and then the temps continue to drop until Saturday where highs will sit in the upper 40s and low 50s. They're even calling for a mix of snow and rain showers on Saturday night and into Sunday.

So the weather may not stick around - But the next few days will still be warmer than average. And not just warmer than average, but looking back to last year... We're definitely doing better!

Last year on October 18th, Oswego County was under a Lake Effect Snow Warning with another 3 to 6 inches of snow expected for areas like Mexico and Parish (bringing expected snow totals to 7 to 10 inches in those areas).

And on that same date (last year), This was the video posted from the National Weather Service outside of Binghamton:

As for our weather in Central New York at this time last year? We were looking at high temperatures in the upper 30s (although it did warm up to the low 50s a few days later).
