Walmart Fight Involving 30 People Near Rochester Goes Viral

A fight at the town of Gates' Walmart near Rochester that took place on Sunday night (7/3) has gone viral. Over 30 people were involved in a fight that stemmed from the check out lines.

Police report that the fight started in the after one woman "dissed" another woman's outfit. Once this started, it turned into a 30 person fight. According to New York Upstate, customers started to head towards the sporting goods department to get bats.

In the end, a teen who threw a canned good and cut someone's head was charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Three others were charged as well. Many rumors on Facebook and Twitter suggest the fight was "staged" for an internet stunt.
