Watch Out For A New Walmart Check Scam

Keep an eye on your mail for the latest scam. If you receive a check from Walmart, you better double check it. It most likely is a scammer pretending to be Walmart.

According to Some Daily, this new scam comes in a letter to your home. It appears to be from Walmart, and in the letter is a check, and information on your new “Quality Control” position at your local Walmart.

If you choose to accept that ‘position’ you’ll need to activate the check in order to deposit it. Once you follow the instructions to activate and get the supposed money deposited, thieves then take every last penny in your account."
