It is often said that America is a land where anyone's dream can come true. That is certainly the case of Kayla Slone who went from Walmart cashier to Grand Ole' Opry performer after a video of her singing Dolly Parton's "Coat of Many Colors" shot by a customer went viral on Facebook.

It's an incredible storybook tale. Check out Kayla's background and then her performance on the Opry.

Kayla was excited to say the least.

"It was a real honor to sing on the Grand Ole Opry stage and be a part of a great tradition," said Kayla." "It was also a special treat to sing with the Marshall Tucker Band and it goes to show you that dreams really do come true!" While that's an often-heard statement, it takes on new meaning when you account for the fact that the night before, Kayla had to work at her hometown Walmart. Her husband, who works as a coal miner, was also on the job that evening.
