Waiting List For Herkimer County “Meals-On-Wheels”
January 11, 2012 1:10 PM “Meals-on-Wheels” is a great program that helps local seniors who may have difficulty in preparing their own meals. Now, during the “Frog Days of Winter”, there is a waiting list for this service for Herkimer County residents.
‘Due to an increase in referrals, the Herkimer County Meals-On-Wheels Program has a waiting list. Mary Scanlon, Director of the Herkimer County Office of the Aging says two meal routes have been affected.’
