Voss’s Open For the Season

There are some sure signs of spring, the first robin in the backyard, a crocus flower peeking out in the garden and grandparents returning from Florida for the summer. Another sure sign of the changing seasons in the Utica area is the annual opening of Voss’s in Yorkville.
It may not felt much like spring Monday but, according to WKTV, that didn’t keep the popular walk up eatery from opening for the season. The owners say year to year consistancy is one of their secret to success.
“We try not to change anything,” said Valerie Voss. “It’s the same as it was if you came here 20 years ago. You’re going to get the same thing that you got then. It’s a good price. We try to keep the prices low so you can bring your whole family to enjoy dinner.”
So if you’re in the mood for some terrific bar-b-que, a tasty hot dog or burger and some fresh air while you eat head over to Oriskany Boulevard.
