Visitor Restrictions At Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare
December 4, 2012 11:10 AM We are definitely in flu season, and more people are coming down with flu-like symptoms. Due to the number of local flu cases, Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare has imposed some restrictions on visitors.
According to our sister station, WIBX:
Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare is placing restrictions on visitors in light of an increase in the number of patients exhibiting flu-like and flu symptoms.
Effective immediately and until further notice only adults ages 18 and older will be permitted to visit patients. Additional restrictions are being placed in the maternity and pediatric wards. Only parents, grandparents, and birthing coaches may visit these departments.
