Utica’s Arterial Project To Begin in January

Be prepared for some traffic tie-ups and plan your alternate routes when Utica’s long awaited and anticipated North-South Arterial Project begins this January. As reported by Brandon Block on our sister station WIBX the project will start with a demolition phase.
According to the D.O.T, about 60 structures will need to be torn down to make way for the new roadway, they say about 50% of the residents that occupy those buildings have already been relocated, with the rest being moved out by the end of December.
Sure, it will be a headache at times, especially when you’re running late, but the end result will be well worth it.
