Utica Zoo Welcomes New Animals

Simon and Garfunkel once sang, “It’s all happening at the zoo” and maybe they had the Utica Zoo in mind. According to the Utica O-D the zoo has received a shipment of new animals including two strip hyenas, a yak, and a crested porcupine. They join other recent arrivals such as an African lion and sea lion.The Utica Zoo is located on Steele Hill Road off the Parkway and is open daily from 10 til 5.
