The City of Utica has declared a Snow Emergency that will remain in effect until further notice

All cars must be off City streets by 10:00 tonight.  Vehicles left on city streets are subject to ticketing and towing.

Due to the storm, Utica residents who set out blue bags and recyclables on Tuesday night for Wednesday pick-up, are being asked to hold them until next week.

The Rome Police Department is requesting that all motor vehicles be removed from city streets to allow for ongoing snow removal by DPW plows.

The request will remain in effect until Wednesday.

There are also Snow Emergencies in effect in the Villages of Ilion, Whitesboro, Yorkville and New Hartford.
