Utica Police Highlight High Traffic Accident Areas

The Utica Police Department has released its accident report statistics that highlight the areas with an unusually high number of traffic accidents. According to a story in the Utica Observer Dispatch the following areas are where you need to be especially careful.
*The area encompassing Genesee Street from Wurz Avenue to Cornelia Place, including Court Street from Varick Street to Rutger Street and West Street had 54 accidents.
*The area encompassing Genesee Street from Eagle Street to Hobart Street had 9 accidents.
* The area encompassing Noyes Street and Oswego Street from Lenox Avenue to Sunset Avenue had 15 accidents.
* The area encompassing the Parkway from Oneida Street to Burrstone Road and Sunset Avenue had 40 accidents.
* The area encompassing Auert Avenue from Leland Avenue to River Road had 11 accidents.
