Utica Makes Top 10 List For Snowiest Cities In America

Here in Central New York we are no stranger to snow and lots of it. The nation is starting to take notice as well. Recently, Utica was ranked #6 on the list of the Top 50 Snowiest Cities In America according to Niche.com. Niche.com is a website that ranks everything from schools and neighborhoods to vacation spots. This latest ranking of the snowiest cities put a few other New York cities in the Top 5 including Buffalo (#4), Rochester (#3), and Syracuse (#1). Utica came in at #6 with an average annual snowfall of 77.5 inches. We've been pretty lucky so far this year, but it's only January which means more snow is sure to come. With that snow also comes frigid temperatures which we'll probably continue to suffer through until at least late March.
