Utica Elementary Students Hold Recycling Effort
Sunday, April 22 is Earth Day, and local elementary school students are doing their part with a bottle and can drive all next week.

Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:
“A Utica school wants to turn your cans into cash.
Hugh R. Jones Elementary is hoping to raise environmental awareness and money through donations of redeemable bottles and cans at Stash’s Hit and Run Redemption Center.
All donations made at the center next week will be matched, up to $1,500, by Stash’s parent company, TOMRA.
The school’s Green Team is holding a host of other activities in honor of Earth Day. The Stash Redemption Center is located at 917 Oriskany Street West in Utica.”
