Utica Continues Its Clean Sweep
July 11, 2012 2:40 PM Who says you can’t do spring cleaning during the “Frog Days Of Summer”? The City of Utica is continuing its 15th straight week of “Clean Sweeps” today.

“Utica Mayor Rob Palmieri will be conducting his 15th Quality of Life Sweep today.
The sweep was to begin at noon from the corner of Hobart and Genesee Streets.
Since the sweeps began on April 6th, city workers have cleared nearly 30 miles of streets, cleaning gutters, picking up litter, cutting brush and painting fire hydrants.
Codes enforcement personnel have also issued numerous citations and warnings to violators.”
