Chuck Obernesser, the owner of Obernesser Media, stumbled upon a contest with NBC Sports called CPTR’D (Captured). The competition encouraged filmmakers of all levels to submit 'short-form feature projects' which run 10 minutes or less, on any sports-related topic. Chuck chose the Utica Comets.

The mini-documentary Chuck Obernesser put together on the Utica Comets took about two weeks to produce during the 2015 Christmas season. Entries had to be submitted by January 12, 2016. Almost 1000 videos have been presented for the CPTR'D contest. Chuck recently found out his documentary didn't make the top five but still has hope it will make an honorable mention.
