As Texas and the south are cleaning up from Hurricane Harvey, Central New York could see rain showers from the big storm.

National Weather Service forecasters are predicting up to a half-inch of rain from Harvey in Upstate New York Saturday night and Sunday morning. They report to Syracuse.com, it won't be as bad as the midwest on rainfall:

"What we have now are the remnants of that system that will be picked up and brought northward," said Joanne LaBounty, a meteorologist in the National Weather Service's Binghamton office.

At this time it's all based on timing from the weather fronts. We may, or may not see rain after all. If the timing is just right, New York City could see all the major rainfall.
