Our strawberry season is short so don't miss your chance to pick some plump, sweet, delicious berries. Check out these local U-Pick favorites in Central New York. 

Strawberry shortcake, strawberry pie, strawberry milkshakes, strawberry smoothies, homemade strawberry ice cream, chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry jam, add strawberry to your salads, put strawberries on your pancakes and more. Here are a few places to get you started.
Candella’s Farm & Greenhouses on River Road in Marcy is known across the Central New York Region for U-Pick Berries. They have acres of homegrown strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. The U-Pick season is mid-June to late July.

Tassleberry Farm, Stop 7 Road Westmoreland, is now open for U-Pick. Their hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 7 PM, Saturday 7 AM - 5 PM, and Sunday 9 AM - 2 PM. They also specialize in Strawberry Vinegar, Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar, and Blueberry Vinegar made right there on the farm.

Swistak Farm, 6644 Greenway New London Rd., Verona opens daily at 8:00 AM for U-Pick strawberries. They encourage you to call 315-363-1251 as they often change the message if they're closing early due to too many pickers and not enough red ripe berries.

Hinman Farms, 6260 State Route 5, Vernon, has U-Pick hours Monday - Saturday: 8 AM - 8 PM and Sunday: 8 AM - 6 PM for Strawberries and fresh peas.

Abbott Farms, 3275 Cold Springs Road, Baldwinsville. Their strawberry patch is located across the street from our store. The field is broken up into three sections, and they grow 12+ varieties, which are all labeled.

Behling Orchards 114 Potter Rd, Mexico have strawberries ready to pick from 7 AM to 7 PM 7 days a week, weather permitting. Mapquest directions send you a bit out of the way, so they encourage you tho use the following directions.

From the South: Take Rt 81 North to the Mexico Exit. (Exit 34). Take a left off exit onto Rt104 West for approximately 7 miles. Take a right onto Fravor Rd and follow until you reach Potter Rd. Watch for signs.

From the North: Take Rt 81 South to Mexico Exit. Take a right off the exit onto Rt 104 West for 7 miles. Take a right onto Fravor Rd and follow until you reach Potter Rd. Watch for signs.
