‘Twilight’ Saga Marathon Hitting Theaters November 15
All right, ‘Twilight‘ fans, your big day is approaching: Summit is bring you a five-film marathon of the entire series, culminating in the premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2.’ Grab your Team Jacob and Team Edward shirts and hats and flashlights or whatever it is you crazy kids are into these days and get ready for a full day of ‘Twilight’ insanity.
Summit and Lionsgate are bringing an epic marathon to fans on November 15 through various movie theater chains. The event will feature all four ‘Twilight’ films and end with a 10 p.m. premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2.’ That’s right — five whole films and over 10 hours of pale, pasty, sparkly love. Speaking of pale and pasty sparkle love, have you talked to your parents about how they made you yet?
In order to be more all-ages-friendly, the marathon will start a little early, allowing for the aforementioned 10 p.m. premiere of the final film in the saga. ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2′ officially hits theaters on November 16, but if you’re a real fan (and you are because you have the Edward pillow case and the Jacob hair brush and the Bella Swan pouty lip gloss or whatever), you’ll be buying your tickets for this marathon ASAP, right?
In addition to the marathon, guests who attend will be treated to exclusive interstitial content between films as well as a special event-only lanyard. A LANYARD, GUYS. After the film, you can replace your ticket with a Photoshop’d picture of you and Edward (or Jacob — we’re not judging except we totally are) in your fancy new lanyard and hang it on your wall next to the vision board filled with pictures of Robert Pattinson and his hair.
We’ll bring you more details on participating theater chains and locations when we’ve got ’em.
