Turning Stone Dome Damaged From Stella Snow

Another one bites the dust. The dome at Turning Stone was damaged due to Winter Storm Stella.

Kelly Abdo, Public Relations Manager at Turning Stone says "the Sportsplex was damaged due to the snow. It will be closed until it can be repaired and rendered safe for occupancy."

The dome at Utica College collapsed from the weight of the snow. Luckily students are on Spring break and no one was injured.

Close to 3 feet of snow fell in less than 24 hours for some areas in central New York. It's no surprise domes can't handle the weight.
