Canaidan Tire has built a truck made of ice in an attempt to show its new Eliminator battery can withstand serious freezing conditions.

It involved putting 14,000 pounds of ice on the frame of an already-existing truck.

The crew who made the truck then brought the battery down to minus-40 degrees before taking the truck for a one-mile joyride.

Unlike many vehicles, this one didn’t need to worry about overheating – in fact, it took 40 hours to melt.
