Trooper Davis’ Procession Home Will Bring Tears to Your Eyes

Trooper Joel Davis is gone but he's not forgotten. Police, firefighters and citizens mourning the tragic loss lined roads and overpasses as the fallen Trooper travelled from Syracuse to Fort Drum.

A motorcade of emergency vehicles drove with Trooper Davis up Interstate 81 Tuesday morning. Video of the procession with bring a tear or two to your eye.

Trooper Davis was killed in the line of duty Sunday July 9th when responding to a domestic dispute call in Theresa. Justin Walters, a soldier at Fort Drum is charged with shooting and killing Davis and his wife Nicole Walters.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 14 at the Magrath Sports Complex in Fort Drum.
Law Enforcement Only 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Public 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be  Saturday, July 15, at 1:00 p.m.
