Trisha Yearwood's hit cooking series, 'Southern Kitchen,' will make its next premiere on the Food Network in October, returning for a second straight season after a successful first run.

Like in the first season, 'Trisha's Southern Kitchen' will showcase Yearwood whipping up more of her fabulous family-inspired recipes, ranging from Southern Brunches to Sunday Suppers and tasty dishes to enjoy over the holidays. In addition to the food tips, Yearwood will also share more of her cherished stories while she cooks.

Yearwood's friends and family -- including her husband, Garth Brooks -- will stop into her Oklahoma kitchen from time-to-time throughout the 13 all-new episodes. In that one particular show, Brooks and Yearwood cook up some of the dishes they love making together, like their special Black Bean Lasagna and Miss Mickey’s Peanut Butter Balls.

"I’m so excited for Season 2. Sharing my family recipes and having the people I love most by my side is such a joy,” Yearwood says. "This show celebrates what living life to the fullest is all about, and it’s so gratifying to return to Food Network for a new season."

'Trisha's Southern Kitchen' will premiere on Saturday, Oct. 20 on the Food Network. Click here for local listings.
