Hard to believe that it was 15 years ago today, December 18, 1997 that Chris Farley died. Farley like his idol, John Belusi, seemed on the road to superstardom in the 90's when he died of a drug overdose. In a tribute, here's a look at 3 of the characters he played on Saturday Night Live. The 90's were the heyday of Chicago sports with the Bulls and Bears winning championships.  Farley was a Wisconsin native very familiar with Chicago sports fan in this ongoing bit about "Bill Swerski's Superfans" most commonly known as "da Bears."

Although Farley never got credit for creating the character, Matt Foley it was a character he had played in several other comedy troupe performances. Check out the ultimate in "Motivational Speakers."

And what may have been one of Farley's best performances, playing a Chippendale dancer along side Patrick Swayze.
