Trailer Choir Returns To FrogFest To Debut New Music
Who’s ready to ‘Rock the Beer Gut?’ Trailer Choir returns to the Wild West FrogFest & Rodeo stage with Whites Farm Supply. Vinny and Butter are pumped about it. ‘We’re so excited. One of the best memories we’ve ever had twice. We love coming up there and hanging out with you all.’
"He’s always had that big smile and personality but it’s like being a new person with a guy you’ve spent the last 6 years of your life with. It was pretty awesome."A lot has happened since Trailer Choir has been at FrogFest. Butter started a family and Vinny lost a TON of weight on the Biggest Loser, a change that has rubbed off on Butter. ‘When Vinny got back off the Biggest Loser, I hadn’t seen him in 6 or 7 months. I saw a gleam and happiness in him. He’s always had that big smile and personality but it’s like being a new person with a guy you’ve spent the last 6 years of your life with. It was pretty awesome. He’s influencing me and I’m in much better shape. Having a baby and having to reorganize your life has helped too.’
The changes have been good for Trailer Choir even though Vinny was scared they’d lose everything they’d work for. ‘I always loved myself and believed I was the best looking guy in the room, but when my health came into question, there was no more pretending I was the hottest guy. It was hard because we had built a brand based on Big Vinny the 400 pound break dancer. But Butter told me people will love you no matter what you weigh. He was right. People love it just as much as they ever did.’
Even though Vinny has lost the weight, Butter says they are still rockin’ the beer gut. ‘That song was always just about rockin’ what you got. It’s all about feeling good and being proud.’
Rocking the Beer Gut
"We’re really looking forward to finishing this record and debuting our new music with you at the show"Trailer Choir has been busy writing and recording new music and Butter says we’re going to be the first to hear it. ‘We’re really looking forward to finishing this record and debuting our new music with you at the show. One of our new songs we’re really excited about is called ‘She’s Comin’ In Hot’ and we’re referring to all the ladies up there in your area. That was our inspiration.’
‘What we want to do on this record is tell the stories people don’t always get to hear and show where we all come from. We will have the ‘Love Me First’ ballad on there but other than that it’s going to be a rockin’ album,’ says Vinny.
Love Me First
While Vinny has been busy focusing on his health, Butter has been busy chasing around his son, Tug Ryder Fortney ‘I love that little guy. Every time we play Trailer Choir music, he starts twerking. He’s already got the music in him. There’s nothing like seeing a one year-old twerk.’ Now THAT I’d love to see.
