Tim McGraw Turns 45 Today – Polly Wogg’s Top 5 Songs

'Hoppy' birthday to Tim McGraw, who turns 45 today. He is definitely better than he use to be. It's as if he's aged like a fine wine, just gets better with age. As I was going through all the music Tim has released over the years, and there's a lot, it was hard to just pick the Top 5. I love his songs, the stories behind them and his silky voice. But he's the reason I'm a country music fan. I heard one of his songs and was hooked after that. Here's my 5 favorite Tim McGraw songs. Are they the same as yours?

This song is why I'm a country music fan. Someone played me it for me and I was hooked. I fell in love with not only Tim's voice, but the story behind the song. And the video was even better. Thanks Tim for turning me into a country fan.

Better Than I Use to Be
Tim's latest single is one of my favorites. It may even top 'Live Like You Were Dying.' His voice is butter smooth and the lyrics touch a place in my heart.

Angry All the Time
The first time I heard this song was during the Soul 2 Soul tour. What a performance Tim and Faith Hill gave. It was my favorite moment of the night and the song has stuck with me ever since. It also came at a time in my life I could truly relate to the song.

She's My Kind of Rain
There is something about Tim's voice on this song. It just makes me melt. Makes me feel like I should be dancing in the rain. Yum!

Last Dollar
Last Dollar is one of my favorites because Tim used his daughters on the song. The best, is the end when Tim's voice fades out and all you hear are the girls. Priceless.

In addition to his great music, Tim is also an actor. His role in 'The Blind Side' with Sandra Bullock was his best work on the big screen. Will be doing any more acting? Not anytime soon. He'll be too busy this summer when he hits the road with Kenny Chesney. If that's not enough, Tim is a happy family man. He's married to the gorgeous Faith Hill and has 3 beautiful girls. I'd say life has been good to Tim and he has a lot to be thankful for as he celebrates his birthday today. Here's to 45 more years of happiness and great music.
