During the "Frog Days Of Summer", we'll be traveling more to vacation destinations, and many of us will be driving on the New York State Thruway. But truckers who drive every day on the Thruway delivering goods, may soon be paying higher tolls.

According to our sister station WIBX:

"If you drive a big rig, you may be paying more to drive on the New York State Thuway, a lot more.

The State Thruway Authority Board has voted to authorize a 45% toll increase for commercial vehicles with three or more axles.

That means if the toll hike is approved, a tractor-trailer would pay $127 to drive form Buffalo to New York City, up from the current $88."

The proposed increased has not been approved yet. Get all the details at wibx950.c0m
