Three Stooges Get Their Star
August 30, 2011 11:49 AM On this day, August 30, 1983, “The Three Stooges” finally got their due. On that day, the Stooges received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Any time you want to brighten up one of the Frog Days of Summer, just find a TV channel showing an old Stooges short.
Some people say that “The Three Stooges” is a guy thing, and that women don’t find them as funny as men. Maybe so, but they were funny. Here’s a sample from their classic and one of their funnest films:
