Thomas Rhett is joining the fight to Outnumber Hunger in America, a campaign he's been a part of since it began three years ago. This year there's two way to help your local food banks; by choosing from over 90 General Mills products and downloading the anthem 'Give 'Em Hope.'

'Give 'em Hope' includes a who's who of country artists including Rhett, Danielle Bradbery, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Reba, The Band Perry, Chris Young 'there's so many great artists that are on this song. Now if you don't go to the grocery store and you like music, you can download the song and 48% of every download goes to Outnumber Hunger and securing meals for local food banks. So it's very easy to donate to this cause and help people in your local area..' 'Give 'Em Hope' is available on iTunes.

Money will be donated to local food banks for every code entered, from over 90 General Mills products, at OutnumberHunger.com.  'All it takes is when you get home, get on the computer and once you've finished surfing Twitter for 35 minutes, enter the code to help local food banks,' explains Rhett. General Mills will donate 55.5 cents to Feeding America, which in turn will given to your local food bank.

Joining the cause was an easy choice for Rhett after he learned of the staggering statistics. 'When I heard how many people actual struggle with hunger in America, it was hard to not be a part of something like that. It's been three years and this program has donated over 25 million meals. That's a ton of meals but it's still not enough. You know 1 in 6 Americans go hungry every night. You just don't think about hunger being an issue in our country but the reality is, there are people that live directly down the street from you that might not eat dinner that night or lunch during the day.'

It sounds like after downloading the Outnumber Hunger anthem 'Give 'Em Hope' from iTunes, we all need to head to the grocery store to get some of that. 'Exactly right. We all need to get us some of that,' laughs Rhett.
