The United Way Says Thanks This Week
February 6, 2012 1:10 PM Many of you contribute to the United Way of The Valley and Greater Utica, knowing that your donations are going to some very worthy local causes. Now, the United Way is taking time to thank you for giving.
According to our sister station WIBX:
“The United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area is taking some time to thank everyone who contributed to last year’s Annual Campaign.
During the first ever “Day of Thanks” scheduled for February 7th and 8th, volunteers, board members and staff will visit and call, to thank local businesses donating to the 2011 Campaign.
In addition, more than 1,500 post cards were mailed out and PSA’s will air during the second week of February.”
