It was one of those movies you either “got” from the get-go or were totally shocked by the ending. “The Sixth Sense”, released on August 6, 1999, starred Bruce Willis as a child psychologist and Haley Joel Osment as a young boy who saw “dead people”.The film topped the box office for 5 weeks and received 6 Academy Award nominations, winning none. Osment’s characters line “I see dead people” became a popular catch phrase and was voted the 44th most memorable movie quote by the American Film Institute.
