The Season 13 American Idol Winner Is…

Another season of American Idol is in the books?  After two hours of star studded performances the season 13 winner was crowned. Was it Caleb Johnson who got to sing with Kiss or Jena Irene, who performed with her favorite band Paramore.

The confetti fell on Caleb Johnson who proved, if at first you don't succeed, try again. Johnson has auditioned for Idol several times and was also sent home during Hollywood week.

Other performances included the three judges, Keith Urban, JLo and Harry Connick Jr. teaming up with Randy Jackson for 'True Colors' and 'Go Your Own Way.'  Darius Rucker teamed up with former idol contestants CJ Harris and Dexter Roberts. Lady Antebellum debuted their new single 'Bartender' and Jennifer Nettles performed with Jessica Meuse.

Ryan Seacrest even got in on the performances, singing with Richard Marx. Let's just say 'don't quit your day job Ryan.'

Keith, Harry and JLo will be back behind the judges table for season 14. Auditions begin next month with a stop in Long Island July 23rd. For the first time, you can also submit your audition on social media or nominate someone you believe is the next American Idol.
