He was a world renown dancer and choreographer, costume designer director and actor,  but most of us knew him as a pitchman for 7 Up in the 80's.  Geoffrey Lamont Holder may have not written the term, "Uncola," but his voice brought it too life.  Click to check out some of his legendary commercials.  Holder passed away at the age of 84 from complications with pneumonia.  He was a much sought after "voice-over artist" because of a deep baritone voice and his 6' 6" frame made him a desirable TV character.

Watch two of his famous 7 UP commercials below, where he introduced the "Uncola nuts" and made famous the phrase, "caffeine, never had it, never will."

That laugh made the commercials, although I'm not sure you would want to hear it in a dark alley.  What commercials do you remember from your early years?  Share them below or join in the conversation at our Facebook page.
