The Easter Bunny Visits Family For Friday Favors

Have you ever met a person who has changed the way you look at things.  A 15 year old girl sent me a message on Facebook one day, requesting a dedication for her mom who works a lot to provide for her family.  A family of  5 children, one grandson and another grandchild on the way.  She just wanted a song to make her smile.  Nothing else.  Even after I told her about Friday Favors, she still didn't ask for anything.

Most of us at one point, have struggled in life, just hoping for a break.  I've been there.  But I only had one child to support.  I can't imagine what it's like with 5 kids and a grandchild.  What better choice for a Friday Favor than a family who struggles to make ends meet but still asks for nothing.

We took up a collection at work of food, clothes, Easter baskets and even a bike.  Because if you're fortunate enough to be able to help, you should.  It's just as rewarding to give when you can, as it is to receive, when you need it.
