The Coal Miner’s Daughter On Today’s Double

On May 1, 1980, the Academy of Country Music named Loretta Lynn the "80s Artist Of The Decade". We honor Loretta Lynn today on our "Country Classic Double" at 11:30 a.m. with her signature song, "Coal Miner's Daughter", which she also wrote and hit number one back in 197o.
