Were Paul Walker and Roger Rodas street racing before they were killed in a fiery crash?  Police are investigating but a friend says he doesn't think so.

Jim Torp, who attended Paul's charity event before his death, tells Hollywoodlife.com he doesn't believe they was racing.

“I want people to know that Paul and Roger were not drag racing. They were not doing donuts. Some people said they were drifting, which they weren’t. They were not racing other cars. They were only driving for like five to six minutes when the car crashed, they didn’t have enough time to be racing,” he continued. “Plus there were two highway patrol officers on site because there were so many high performance cars at the event. Roger lost control of the control. They didn’t spin or anything. They went into a tree. They hit four trees and took a big light pole down. The light pole came down and the car bounced off of it. And then they crashed into a tree, that’s what eventually stopped the car.''

Video from a security camera caught the crash at the moment of impact.

A car driving by the scene moments after the crash, pulled over to video tape the crash.

Police are continuing to investigate the Saturday accident that killed both Walker and Rodas.  If the Porsche contained a black box, it may answer questions over why Rodas lost control.  Police had said the car was traveling over 100 MPH.

Fans are flocking to the crash site to mourn and remember Walker.
