The Best St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations in Central New York – Our Top 5
St.Patrick's Day, March 17, is on a Saturday this year, meaning all of our favorite St. Patty's Day destinations will probably be more crowded than usual. Here are a few of our favorite options for that green beer, corned beef and cabbage and shamrocks.
Tipperary Hill is an area located on the west side of Syracuse. Originally settled by Irish immigrants it is well know for two things, one, its upside down traffic light with the green signal on top and, two, a host of Irish pubs that are always packed with revelers on St. Patrick's Day. With names like Coleman's, Nibsy Ryan's Saloon and Rosie O'Grady's you know it has to be a hot spot every St. Patty's Day. Just make sure you have a designated driver if you plan on making the rounds.
