When you think about dating the age groups that come to mind are usually the 20 or 30 somethings. The very thought of singles over 50 going back into the dating game might seem to some as scary and miserable. However a study by Match.com has found that singles over 60 are the happiest and least stressed about their relationship status. Aside from being less likely to “play games” there are 8 attributes that older daters clearly incorporate in their dating profiles.
1. Affection
2. Intelligence
3. Independence
4. Your everyday life’s purpose and/or goal
5. Religion and spirituality
For the full list click here. I began dating again a few years ago when I was in my late 50′s and while, at first, the prospect of going through the dating process was daunting I met several terrific women, one of whom became my wife. Saving the best for last is what I always say.
