Texaco Country Showdown Back at the Beach

Is it me or has it rained 72 Wednesdays in a row?  Okay so it is me, but we finally have a beautiful night for the final Texaco Country Showdown preliminary round at Sylvan Beach tonight brought you by Claycomb Auto Sales.  Four contestants will vie for the last spot in the finals to be held next Wednesday night, August 24.  Tonight's show begins at 6 with the Texaco Country Showdown contestants.  Then Big Frog 104's Country Showcase presents the band Still Kickin' on stage from 7 to 9.  It's all free and Sylvan Beach always provides great family fun with the beach, amusement rides and great restaurants and night clubs.
