Test Your Campsite Cooking Skills at Old Forge's Taste of Fall

Old Forge's annual Taste of Fall Festival 'Camper's Cook-Off' pits you against other competitors at your campsite. No fancy kitchens here. Unless you bring one.

Head out to the Old Forge Camping Resort this weekend for a cook-off like no other.

Here's how it works:

All entries must be cooked at your campsite and must include the theme ingredient. The Theme for 2018 is: Mexican.

You'll get all day Saturday to prepare your dish and then present it under the big pavilion at the Old Forge Camping Resort to the judges and guests at 4:30 p.m.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place and Popular Vote.

If you don't want to enter a dish, but you still want to join in the fun, no problem. You can sample the entries and vote for your favorite after the judging.

The Taste of Fall Festival begins Friday, September 14 at 11 a.m. and ends on Saturday, September 15 at 6 p.m.

Event organizers are expecting the Fall foliage to be beautiful by that weekend, so be sure to book as soon as possible.
