Terry Jones – Thank a Farmer

We’ve teamed up with Whites Farm Supply and James Wesley to ‘Thank a Farmer‘ at FrogFest.  We’ve been asking you to nominate farmers who deserve recognition and 2 will be James Wesley’s special guests at FrogFest June 15th. Today we recognize Terry Jones of Holland Patent.

We would like to thank our farmer Terry Jones for all his hard work each and everyday. When you ask him about his farming he never considers it a job. Being raised in east Utica, there wasn't quite an appreciation for what a farmer does until I married one. My daughter has been raised by Terry half her life and he has taught her hard work and dedication. He works seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. He has a herd of about 200 cows. He grows several acres of corn and soybeans and harvests every fall. He also grows several acres of hay which goes to locals and out of state. Our milk along with other local farmers goes to a plant where butter is made and sold locally. He not only keeps busy with all of this, but if ever a neighbor is in need he is always there to help them. We have a deep respect and admiration for this man and this is our Thank you to him for all he does!
